Applying wisdom and technology to support the future of ports

Since our founding in 1976, we have been working to improve the efficiency of port development, management, and operation at over 250 ports in over 70 countries around the world.

We have also accepted over 1,000 trainees from overseas, building an extensive international network founded on trust. Our team of experts from various fields helps solve problems throughout the world using a wealth of information and data, and actively makes policy recommendations both domestically and internationally.

We will continue to utilize the knowledge and technology we have cultivated both domestically and internationally to support the future of ports.

At OCDI, we address global issues related to coastal development and international logistics through research, international cooperation, and international exchange.
We also work to spread Japan’s advanced technology, knowledge, and experience to other countries, with the aim of promoting coastal development and facilitating international logistics.

We also work to spread the excellent technology, knowledge, and experience that Japan has cultivated to other countries, with the aim of promoting coastal development and facilitating international logistics.

OCDI Activities

We are working to realize a sustainable future in the fields of ports and international logistics around the world through development cooperation to "develop ports," research to "develop technology," and training activities to "develop people."

Through such projects, we will continue to support the development of each country and expand our international network.
