JICA “Group and Region Focused Training Course on Strategic Port Administration and Management (for Port Managers), which commenced on February 16^th, 2025 was recently completed. A total of 17 participants from 16 countries took part in the training course.

Although the duration of this year’s program was shortened to approximately one month compared with previous years, all 17 participants demonstrated commendable dedication throughout the lectures and during the study visits to various port facilities.

Despite the constrained timeframe allotted for the preparation of their action plans, each participant undertook the task with remarkable diligence, resulting in outputs of notably high quality.

Amid concerns regarding potential disruptions to international air travel, appropriate measures were taken to secure safe travel routes. Consequently, all participants were able to return to their respective countries without incident.

We wish to again express our profound appreciation to all lecturers and the representatives of the port‑related organizations who extended their invaluable cooperation during this demanding period.
