JICA “Group and Region Focused Training Course on Strategic Port Development, Administration and Management (for Port Manager)” commenced on January 20^th, 2025. We welcomed 18 participants from 16 countries. The course will continue until February 22^nd.

The course objective is to improve each participant’s capacity to formulate port development and management strategies. Each participant will prepare an Action Plan that addresses the various administrative issues their respective countries face such as those related to planning, financing, operation, and management. Participants will be able to consult with Japanese experts when formulating their Action Plans.

The overall goal is to provide participants with the knowledge to develop their ports in a strategic manner as well as operate and manage them effectively.
