OCDI signed an agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on 18 March 2025 to implement the “Capacity Building for Policy Development for Value Enhancement (Greening) of the Caspian Sea Route in Central Asia and the Caucasus (Country Training).”

 This training program which has already been launched will help participants understand Japanese initiatives on logistics efficiency, greening, port operations, port marketing, etc., and will also provide opportunities for them to exchange opinions with logistics operators and experts, as well as among themselves.

 Through the implementation of this program, OCDI aims to strengthen the policy-making capacity of participants, with a focus on improving port operation strategies, advancing marketing techniques, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the Caspian Sea Route.
