OCDI supported the 23rd ASEAN–Japan Port Technology Group (PTG) Meeting
As part of a study on the formulation of guidelines for realizing Carbon Neutral Ports (CNP) in ASEAN Member States commissioned by the Ports and Harbours Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan, , OCDI helped organize the 23rd ASEAN–Japan Port Technology Group (PTG) Meeting, which was held on December 11, 2025, in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
At this meeting, the final draft of the Guidelines for Realizing Carbon Neutral Port (CNP) in the ASEAN Region— which have been developed since FY2023 through the collaborative efforts of port experts from Japan and the ten ASEAN Member States under the framework of ASEAN–Japan Transport Partnership (AJTP) — was deliberated and formally endorsed by the PTG.
Following this endorsement, it was agreed that the Guidelines will be submitted for final approval at the ASEAN–Japan Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ATM)scheduled to be held next year.
