Project
Advisory Services for Port Operations and Maintenance Policies in the Pacific Region

OCDI was commissioned to conduct “Advisory Services for Port Operations and Maintenance Policies in the Pacific Region” by JICA in July 2023. In this project, OCDI will dispatch experts to the Island countries in the Pacific to identify issues related to the maintenance and management of key ports. Target countries are Fiji, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Tonga, Solomon Islands and Samoa. The experts will evaluate the degree of facility aging, and prepare a strategy for enhancing the resilience of key ports against global warming and sea level rise. The report will be finalized in the middle of 2025.
