OCDI

OCDI received JICA President Award on 9th December 2021.

The JICA President award is given to individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in the socio-economic development of developing countries through JICA’s international cooperation activities.

At the award ceremony, JICA recognized OCDI’s contribution to the formation of global logistics networks through more than 250 technical cooperation projects in more than seventy (70) nations as well as its contribution to human resource development of port organizations and/or personnel for over twenty (20) years. In addition, JICA also introduced OCDI’s efforts in establishing “JICA port alumni” which is comprised of senior officials in the ports all over the world who have participated in JICA training courses.

In keeping with the spirit of this award, OCDI will furtherly devote itself to assisting developing countries through sharing our know-how and technology on port development and operation in Japan.
