This Strategy represents the first comprehensive port policy framework to be developed by the Ministry of Shipping. The draft volume concerning seaports was submitted to the Government at the end of 2025, while the separate volumes on river ports and land ports remain under preparation. JICA is providing technical assistance for the formulation process, with OCDI serving as the implementing consultant.The initiative has been formally recorded in the summary document of the Interim Government and is expected to be duly handed over to the incoming administration.
